Producer Price Index of Agricultural Products (Agriculture-PPI) increased by 14.50% annually and 0.45% monthly
Agriculture-PPI (2015=100) on the previous month increased by 0.45%, on December of the previous year increased by 8.49%, on same month of the previous year increased by 14.50% and on the twelve months moving averages basis increased by 14.29% in June 2020.
Compared to the previous month in sectors; products of agriculture, hunting and related services increased by 0.40%, forestry products and related services increased by 1.58% and fishing products and other fishing products increased by 1.74%. In June 2020, vegetables and melons, roots and tubers where lowest annual increase realized with 5.60% on the same month of the previous year. The highest monthly decrease was 9.31% in poultry, live and eggs subgroup
In June 2020, the other group that indicated a decrease was vegetables and melons, roots and tubers with 2.67% amongst the subgroups. In June 2020 within average prices of 82 items in the index; the average prices of 23 items decreased and the average prices of 8 items remained unchanged while the average prices of 51 items increased. The next release on this subject will be on August 14, 2020.
