Maximum production and delivery were in lignite
Marketable production of solid fuels was 100 thousand 220 tonnes for hard coal, 5 million 134 thousand 513 tonnes for lignite(1)
and 380 thousand 662 tonnes for coke derived from hard coal in January 2019. For the same month, deliveries(2)
were 3 million 413 thousand 267 tonnes for hard coal, 5 million 575 thousand 705 tonnes for lignite and 426 thousand 597 tonnes for coke derived from hard coal.The lowest ratio of production to deliveries was in hard coal

Hard coal and lignite were delivered mostly to the thermal power plants
Distribution of solid fuels according to breakdown of main delivery places was 56.1% to thermal power plants, 18.1% to coking plants, 5% to industry (except iron and steel industry) for hard coal whereas, 87.2% to thermal power plants, 7.9% to industry (except iron and steel industry) for lignite and 98.4% to iron and steel industry for coke derived from hard coal.The next release on this subject will be on April 29, 2019.
